This comprehensive Hazardous Materials course is designed to provide participants with foundational knowledge and practical guidance for working safely with and around hazardous materials in the workplace. The course covers the full spectrum of hazardous waste topics, from identification and classification to management, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.

Through interactive modules and real-world case examples, students will gain a solid understanding of hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER), hazardous waste minimization strategies, spill prevention and control plans, and proper handling and disposal practices for universal waste, used oil, and other regulated substances.

Participants will also explore key U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations pertaining to the packaging, labeling, manifesting, and transportation of hazardous waste shipments to ensure full compliance during off-site transfers.
